Mike

Mike Beretta PT, ATC, USACC

Mike Beretta, physical therapist and owner, lives locally here in El Dorado Hills and is dedicated to providing the highest quality care available. His physical therapy philosophy has developed from over 16 years in rehabilitation and related fields. This includes his time spent taking care of injured athletes as a Certified Athletic Trainer, working as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and as a USA Cycling Coach. For the last 6 years, Mike has developed his skills in Pilates based rehabilitation and has completed the Polestar Rehabilitation CertificationMike for medical professionals (www.polestarpilates.com).

Thomas

Thomas J. McCoin, MPT

Tom has twenty-two years of experience in physical therapy and athletic training settings. He has a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University. His diverse therapy work (pediatrics, geriatrics, neurological rehab, orthopedic, and aquatic rehabilitation) brings an eclectic approach to his patient treatments.

Tom is also currently an Adjunctive Instructor, teaching within the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Sacramento City College.

His extensive athletic background (Sacramento Hall of Fame- high school water polo, Varsity Collegiate Crew-CSULB, Finisher: 1995 Pike's Peak Marathon, 1997 Outrigger Canoe World Championships, 2000 "Leadville 100" mountain bike race, 2001 "Wasatch Front 100" trail run, 2002 "Western States 100" trail run, 2003 "Vineman Ironman" distance triathlon, 2003 "Furnace Creek 508" mile bicycle road race, 2007 Coeur d'Alene Ironman, 2008 &2009 Tahoe 100 mile MTB race) provides him with insight into varied biomechanical and movement-based injuries. Tom is also a certified adaptive and able-body alpine ski instructor. He is currently training for the 2010 100 mile Leadville Trail Run.


Jill

Jill Jackson, PTA, ATC

Jill has more than 15 years experience in the physical therapy and athletic training setting. She graduated from CSUS with a degree in Physical Education / Athletic Training. She is also a licensed physical therapy assistant. At Beretta PT, Jill and the physical therapists work closely using a "team" approach to help our patient's reach their goals.

She was formerly the head athletic trainer for the Sacramento Monarchs for 11 years and the Sacramento Knights for 5 years where she evaluated, treated, and managed athletic injuries for professional athletes.

Prior to working with professional athletes, she has worked in the physical therapy clinical setting as well as in the high school athletic training setting where she developed skills with a wide variety of patients.

Activities that she enjoys are tennis, biking, running, water and snow skiing.

Dian Listberger - Office Manager
